Valentino Cape, 1969

This exquisite cape by Valentino comes from his couture collection for Spring 1969.  The coral branches on the ivory satin are completely painted by hand.  Worn with coral colored crepe pants.  Exquisite, no?

How does one make a red suit more interesting?  Add animal print!  Valentino uses his signature red for this suit from Fall/Winter 1992.  He adds animal print at the sleeve cuffs and for the piping that edges the pockets.  Then for even more fun, he adds animal print tights, shoes and even a turban!

Weekend Eye Candy - Valentino, 1960

Valentino Haute Couture evening gown from Fall-Winter 1960.  Valentino called this gown the "Lucky".  The gown is fashioned of black silk velvet with eleven tulle flounces that form the flared skirt with train and a matching shawl completes the look.
